This will change every value of the country on the CEs, WICEs and Compensation Calculations with some exceptions with regards to the Calculation Inputs tab:

  • Depending on the template being used, there may be some drop down lists on the Calculation Input tab where the data resides on custom calculation spreadsheets. Country values from these spreadsheets are not subject to the changes made on the Countries screen. If the country name is not present on the drop down list it will be added as default with the name change in place.

  • Changing the Country's name is for display purposes and does not affect the values used in the Tax Estimator Tables and Tax Engine Calculations.

  • Changing the Country's name will also display in the following reports:

    • Cost Estimates:

      • Cost Estimate Fiscal Period Report

      • Cost Estimate Gross To Net Report

    • What-if Cost Estimates:

      • What-if Cost Estimate Report

      • What-if CE Document

    • Comp Calculations

      • Assignment Compensation Calculation Report

Things to note

  • Changing the country name is not limited to the CE, WICE and Compensation Calculation fields it also affects fields such as the To Country and From Country on the Assignment screen. It is recommended that prior to editing any Country names to conduct an impact analysis.
