To add a line item to the Compensation Data Repository, click the

  • Line Item Name - the name of the Line Item. This can be free formed text or a drop-down list (if the system preference is set to Yes. Note you can add new options to the drop-down list using lookup maintenance).

  • Effective Date field - the date the Compensation Data Repository (CDR) entry will start being used with other features such as Compensation Calculations and Compensation Worksheets

  • End Date - the date the Compensation Data Repository (CDR) entry will stop being used

  • Amount - the amount of the line item

  • Preferred Payment Location - (hidden by default) intended to allow users to indicate where they would like the item to be paid. The information is usually sent to vendors to confirm where payment should be made. The values can be configured under Lookup Maintenance under Preferred Payment Location

  • Comp Worksheet Single Use - (hidden by default) allows Comp Worksheet to use the CDR entry once. Additional configuration should be done in Compensation Worksheet Dictionary. Please refer to Appendix M.

Things to Note

  • A 'Record Identifier' text field can be enabled and used to link the Compensation Data Repository (CDR) to another system number or ID. This record identifier can also be used with the generic import to make updates.

    • The field is not be visible by default. It can be made visible via the Data Dictionary Fields Override Screen:
