When enabled, this feature allows users to indicate where and how much of a line item’s total cost is allocated. Showing this tab is configured on the associated cost estimate template.

Depending on the template's configuration, two or three locations will appear (Home, Host and Other). Each line item’s total allocation must equal 100% or the line item’s total cost depending on method used. When editing a line item’s allocation values, only one location can be left blank in order for the remainder to be automatically allocated into blank location. A value of 0 is treated as a 0 and will not automatically update with the remainder.

Selecting the method will allow users to specify if the allocation will be specified in percentage (%) or fixed amount ($).
