Note: An Assignment Package can be created as part of the Authorization Wizard process. See the Creating an Assignment Package section for information about this item.

You have now completed your portion of the Authorization Wizard assignment initiation process. Continuation of this process has been delegated to the approver that was identified in the Approval tab.

When the approval routing process is initiated, the identified approver, as well as the Authorization Coordinator, receives an email notification. To review the assignment authorization, the recipient needs to click the link in the email.

This link directs the recipient to the Equus Platform authorization so that it can be reviewed; the user should click either the

or

button to submit their decision. The system will send an email notification to the user responsible for submitting the authorization when a decision by the approver has been made.

To review the authorizations within the Equus Platform system without using the email links, they can be accessed by going to the Companies page and the Authorizations menu option. All pending authorizations for that particular company are listed in the Search Results. To finalize the authorization and move the assignment to active status, click the pencil

This will pull up the full authorization for you to view. Once you are ready to move the assignment to active status, go to the Approval tab and click the

button at the bottom of the page.

A pop-up will appear to ask you to confirm your action; click the

button to proceed.

When the system has updated, select the ‘Relocation Coordinator’ and click the

button at the bottom of the Approval tab. This action is an internal function and typically done by the Assignment/Relocation Coordinator.

Again, a pop-up will appear to ask you to confirm your action; click the

button to proceed.

Once the page has refreshed, click the

close.png

button to exit the authorization.

Now that the authorization has been finalized and the assignment created, the Assignment/Relocation Coordinator will receive an email notification of the new assignment.
