These steps are a summary of how to configure Employee Elections:
Update security rights
Update policies & services
Create election set at company level by creating a new one or copying an existing election set
Add any quick workflows / checklists to handle the outcome of the employee’s choices
Either:
Add a quick workflow to automate the issuance of the elections when certain criteria are met

Things to be aware of / consider
To make use of Employee Elections, the Mobile Employee Experience must be in use. The ‘old’ employee portal will not support employee election functionality.
Only use the [Copy] button to create a new record when copying an Election Template and/or Election Set where the Is Situational Election checkbox is not ticked on the Election Details screen. When using the copy feature for elections using situational rules, any changes made to in the copied record will automatically be reflected in the record that it was copied from and vice versa. A workaround will be made available in a future release. It is recommended to use the [Copy] button with caution.
