“My” Widgets for Assignment Coordinators
If you want to create “My” widgets for the Relocation/Assignment Coordinator, you may be able to use the “Equus Dashboard - Assignment Info By Coordinator” User Report Type. This User Report Type includes the Assignment, Assignment Derived Calculations, Employee, and User tables, with a path through the Resource table, for the Relocation/Assignment Coordinator resource record. You must include a prompted filter within your report for User ID. You must also set the Data_User_Security property of the widget to True. See Equus standard User Report, Equus Dashboard - Upcoming Assignment Start Dates By Coordinator as an example.
“My” Widgets for Coordinators on the Assignment screen
If you want “My” widgets (data filtered per the current user) for any of the resources available on the Assignment screen (includes Relocation/Assignment Coordinator, Accounting Coordinator, or any of the 10 Additional Resources), include the view “Assignment Resource User Identifier (view)” in your User Report Type. This view will return the User ID of each of the 12 possible resources. Within the User Report, add a Custom SQL field checking if @SBUILDER_USER_ID is equal to the User ID in question (Accounting Coordinator User ID, for example). (@SBUILDER_USER_ID is the User ID of the current user). Then add a filter for that field as true. You must also set the Data_User_Security property of the widget to True. See Equus standard user report, Equus Dashboard – My Active Business Travelers Year, Quarter, Month as an example.
Shortcut Widgets
Administrators can create a shortcut widget containing links to the Equus Platform pages, or custom URLs. The administrator can configure the Title, Title Font Size, Icon, and Base Color of the widget. Shortcut widgets are intended for intenral users; however, if administrators would like to add them to a portal page, this widget type would be most appropriate for External Client users.
Shortcut links can be included in the widget by default, or the widget can be left blank, and the individual user can configure his/her own shortcuts. When added to a dashboard layout, this widget will include the shortcuts as configured within the widget definition. Modifications made to a widget after a user has used it on his/her dashboard will not update the user’s widget; however, users utilizing the widget for the first time will see the latest shortcuts.
When configuring pages for the widget within the widget definition, pages are limited to ones authorized for the site per license modules. When individuals add pages to the widget, pages are limited to role security access as well as license modules within the site.
When an individual uses the shortcut to navigate to a page, the following security is applied when searching for a relocation/assignment:
Records the user has rights to
Records that have the page authorized per license module (not necessarily per Services Authorized!)
Summary Widgets
Summary widgets can be created to highlight pertinent information. The widget creator can configure the Title, Footer Type, Footer Detail Page/Footer User Report/Footer URL (dependent upon Type selected), Title Font Size, Icon, and Base Color of the widget. The Administrator can also configure a User Report to display additional information appended to the beginning of the Title. The first value returned by the User Report is what will be included in the widget Title.
