Note

The Equus Platform Mobile Portal is a legacy feature applicable to those using the old employee portal. To provide a better employee experience, it is recommended that you use the Mobile Employee Experience (MEE) instead.

The mobile content can be adjusted on the Mobile Portal Configuration screen. This screen is located on the Configuration tab under the Portal Configuration menu item.

This page will allow for the configuration of the menu items seen in the Mobile Portal as well as the order in which those items are listed. The available menu items for the Mobile Portal include Announcements, My Expense Reports, Documents, Relocation Coordinator, New Expense Report and Message Coordinator. A menu item can be removed from view in the Mobile Portal be inactivating the desired menu item. The order in which the menu items are listed with in the Mobile Portal can also be changed by modifying the number in the Sequence field.

Note: These configuration options are only available at the system level so any changes made here can be reflected in the mobile site for all Employee users.

Along with any desired modifications to the Mobile Portal Configuration page, appropriate rights will also need to be granted to the Employee users.

In order for an external Employee user to access the Mobile Portal, the role for that user will need to be granted a minimum of view rights to the Mobile Assignment Selection, Mobile Content and Mobile Landing screens. To make use of the Relocation Coordinator messaging and New Expense Reports features the Employee user will also need to be granted rights to Mobile Send Email to Relocation Coordinator, Mobile Expense Entry and Mobile New Expense Report screens.

Rights to the Mobile Send Email to Relocation Coordinator, Mobile Expense Entry and Mobile New Expense Report screens will also control the visibility of these mobile menu items. For example, if a user does not have rights to the Mobile Send Email to Relocation Coordinator screen then that user will not see the Message Coordinator menu item on the Mobile Portal even if that menu item is active on the Mobile Portal Configuration screen.

These rights can be granted or revoked on the Role Maintenance screen, which is located on the Configuration tab under the Security Maintenance menu item.

In conjunction with granting rights on the various Mobile pages. The Mobile pages will also need to be enabled for the desired User Type(s) at the Portal Page Configuration Template level. If the Mobile Send Email To Relocation Coordinator, Mobile Expense Entry and Mobile New Expense Entry pages are not configured for the desired User Type(s) then those menu items will not be seen on the Mobile Portal even if those menu items are active on the Mobile Portal Configuration screen. The Portal Page Configuration Template is located on the Configuration tab under the Portal Configuration menu item.
