Controlling the visibility of the User Report Type to users and the usage in User Reports can be managed in four ways:

Inactive

By default, all user report types are active upon creation. When the "Inactive" field is checked, this prevents all users from selecting the User Report Type from the User Report Details Screen.

Data Sensitivity

All user report types are available to all user security roles unless a value is specified in the Report Authorship Data Sensitivity Field. When selecting a value, the value should be identical to the that of the User Report's Data sensitivity.

System / System and Company

By default, all user report types are available at System level only. For a User Report Type to be available at a company level, the "Available at Company Level" field must be checked and a path from the Base Table to the Company table must be specified.

External User Type Access

By default, internal users will have access to all User Report Types. The External User Type Access can limit the availability of the User Report Type to a particular set of users. In most cases, only an External Client would have the ability to run user reports at all. The User Report and the User Report Type must both be configured for External Client under External User Type Access.

User Report Type Reference

All user reports that are the same specific report type will be listed in this section. This allows better tracking and faster navigation when configuring reports as individual user reports are linked. Data sensitivity is also shown to see if the user has viewing rights on the specific user report.
