The Relocation Exception Import allows users to add or import Policy Field Exception with an option to associate it to the Policy Field Id. This import loads exceptions to the specific assignment(s), and the screen Policy Field exceptions will display the additional “Relocation Exceptions”.
This import makes the Assignment Policy Field Id optional as other Assignment Identifiers can be used. Please see attached file for the Field Column Definition for the list.
The Relocation Exception Import can load Approved, Denied, Cancelled, or Pending exceptions.
Approved and Denied exceptions will be automatically added to approval history records.
Pending Exceptions will trigger auto-routing (via Quick Workflow) if approval information can be obtained for the approval rulesets at the company level.
Auto routing feeds on a Quick Workflow named 'Exception Routing' (EventID=317) that will initiate routing process.
Things to Note
The Required Amount is an optional field in the import, but it is still required on the detail popup.
Users that wants to import exceptions without an amount should make sure the System Preference 'Require an Estimated Amount in order to save an Exception' is off.
