This import cannot be “undone”. Once the import creates and/or updates the data, there is no way to automatically reverse what you just did. Imported records cannot be deleted from the system.

The import logic is driven by the local code. If there is a local code found during the import, then the record containing that local code will be updated. If no local code is found during the import, then the record is created.

AUTHORITY_NAME

Y

Enter the name of the authority to be imported. The import will process tax authorities with apostrophes. Authority names have a maximum limit of 50 characters. Names longer than 50 characters are truncated.

STATE_CODE

Enter the two character state or provincial code (AL, AK, BC, etc…) Washington DC and Puerto Rico’s state codes are DC and PR respectively.

Enter the local code associated with the tax authority. Local codes have a maximum limit of 50 characters. Codes longer than 50 characters are truncated.

TAX_YEAR

Enter a 4 digit Tax Year.

Enter the tax rate associated with the user defined tax authority. The tax rate must be entered in decimal form. (1.5% = 0.015)

INCOME_LIMIT

Enter the income limit to use for the Tax Authorities. No commas are accepted in this field. If no income limit is specified, then an income limit of 999999999.00 is assumed.

Enter the country, United States or Canada associated with the user defined tax authority. If no country is provided then the import will assume United States.
