The Compensation Module's Appendix C explains how to create payroll reports that display only changed accounting transactions using the Payroll Report Comp Periods DIFF Export view

APPENDIX C – Payroll Report with changed transactions only

A user report can be used in the payroll reporting process to produce only accounting transactions that have changed since the last payroll period.

The user report will require a user report type with the “Payroll Report Comp Periods DIFF Export (view)” base table.
