Theming can be customized for Custom Widgets in Landing Experience Dashboards through the following fields:
Theme
Icon
Title & Icons Color
You can select theme colors by clicking the Theme and Theme & Icon Color fields. Alternatively, you may enter a color value using a hex code, RGBA, or HSLA format.
The Theme field determines the color of the widget on the dashboard.
The Theme & Icon Color field controls the color of the widget’s header title and button icons.
For Custom Function Widgets, you can also select an icon.
Through the Color Settings section, expanded theming options can also be applied on the following custom widgets:
The Color Settings section can be accessed by editing a custom widget. It will be visible on the bottom of the right-side widget configuration screen. The following theming options are available:
Adding Colors into Custom Widgets
When editing a custom widget, click on Add Color under the Color Settings section. When clicked, a color can be selected on the color picker for that Category or Sub Category. Hex, RGBA, and HSLA values can also be provided as an alternative for the color.
The color selection will control Sub-Categories for Line and Bar Chart widgets; whereas it will control Categories for Pie Chart widgets.
There are no limits as to how many colors you can add under the Color Settings section. Click on Save to finalize changes.
When a new custom widget is added into a dashboard, 5 default colors will automatically be provided on the Color Settings section. Existing widgets will have the section as well, but default colors will not be provided by default to preserve consistency.
Copying and Applying Color Settings to Other Custom Widgets
You can copy an existing set of colors by clicking on Copy Color Settings when editing a custom widget.
Find the custom widget where you want to apply the color settings, edit it, and click on Apply Color Settings .
Click on Save to finalize the custom widget theming.
Note that you can only apply a copied set of colors in a widget on the same browser tab from where it was copied from.
