The Integration module of AssignmentPro allows an entity using AssignmentPro to share data with another entity. A primary use case for integration is when a client managing an assignment sends a Service Order to a Vendor; the vendor can receive the Assignment details, fulfill services, and send updates back to the AssignmentPro client, all without data having to be manually keyed in by the user.
Only the data configured for integration will be shared; and transmitted data is done so quickly and with the utmost security.
The vendor entity may or may not be using AssignmentPro and the integration varies depending. The articles in the Vendor Integration section will walk through the processes of configuring integration with a vendor, either using AssignmentPro or not, as well as walk through a typical use case.
