Key Features
Release v16.1 includes a number of new features which significantly enhance the functionality of AssignmentPro.
Assignment Packages (Including Batches)
Quickly create all required assignment package related documents with one click. Our new Assignment Package feature allows a user to create Tax Cost Estimates, Compensation Calculations and/or varied Merge Documents all at the same time.
This can be valuable for each assignee, but what about group moves? Quarterly updates? Salary updates? AssignmentPro now enables the update of your assignment packages in bulk as well.
Vendor Integration
One source of data? Enter data one time? The latest version of our vendor integration solutions offers: additional process efficiency, communication efficiency with your vendors, data accuracy and easier vendor service visibility.
In 2015, we released AssignmentPro to AssignmentPro as a vendor integration solution. In v.16.1 we are providing something more generic for vendors that do not yet use AssignmentPro.
Once this integration is set-up with your tax, immigration and/or health insurance vendors, you will be able to share vendor service request details automatically and your vendors will be able to automatically share status updates back in your version of AssignmentPro.

Assignment Packages
As we will demonstrate in our webinar…
“Quickly create all required assignment package related documents with one click. Our new Assignment Package feature allows a user to create Tax Cost Estimates, Compensation Calculations and/or varied Merge Documents all at the same time.

A new feature has been added that allows for Assignment Packages including Cost Estimates, Compensation Calculations and Merge Documents to be created with one click. This allows for an easier way to build a package for a potential or approved assignment. Delivery options can also be configured, so when the package is created, the user can select from the available Delivery options to distribute the package with the correct email message. For more information, see Assignment Packages user manual.
Assignment Package Batches
As we will demonstrate in our webinar…

Assignment Packages can be created in bulk using the batch process. This can be useful when new policy elements are being introduced that may affect a large population. This may also be helpful when a policy change is being considered and analysis is needed to understand the financial impact to the program.
A full or subset of assignments can be designated to be included in the batch. Select a package and run the batch. Once the packages are created for each assignment, the user can navigate from the batch to the individual packages to review. A User Report may also be run to review information for the batch as a whole. If artefacts need to be delivered, this can be achieved from the individual packages. For more information, see Assignment Packages user manual.
Vendor Integration
As we will demonstrate in our webinar…

Clients can now integrate AssignmentPro with vendors’ systems for smoother data sharing. In the past year we introduced AssignmentPro to AssignmentPro integration so that corporate clients using AssignmentPro can exchange data with Relocation Management Providers also using AssignmentPro. With this release, we have added the ability to integrate data with vendors not using AssignmentPro by assigning predefined vendor data sets. Vendors will be able to access appropriate assignment data in your AssignmentPro system for seamless integration with their systems including the ability to update data for accurate real-time data sharing.
As of this release, we have predefined data sets for the following service provider types:
Immigration services
Healthcare services
Tax services
For more detailed information on this feature, see the Vendor Integration User Manual.
Cost Estimates
Expat4Cast Hypo Calculations now include additional options and flexibility, to allow more control of the tax calculation. Additionally, a few bugs have been corrected.
The Expat4Cast Hypo Calculations, used in Compensation Calculations and Cost Estimates as custom calculations to compute hypothetical tax, now include additional options and flexibility. Eight additional base compensation tax inputs have been added to the original two, Base Salary and Bonus. When used in Cost Estimate, this feature previously included other Base Compensation line items that were not configured as Calculation Input Mapping on the template in the hypothetical tax computation. Now, these other Base Compensation line items will be automatically added as mapping inputs for Line Items using the E4C Hypo Calculation on Cost Estimate templates. Only specifically mapped line items will be included in the hypothetical tax computation.
Under certain circumstances, a spreadsheet calculation with an incorrect field type would cause an error when calculating the cost estimate line item, even if the spreadsheet calculation version was marked inactive. This has been corrected.
When adding a new Calculation Line Item as a Fixed Amount Line within a Cost Estimate Template, the currency picker was disabled; the user had to manually enter the correct currency. This has been corrected.
User Reports
Additional joins have been added, allowing tables to be included together in a single User Report Type for broader reporting capabilities. Also, additional information has been included in some existing views, to allow more reporting options.
When creating a User Report Type using the Payroll System Contact as the Base table, there are now cleaner joins between the Resource table and the User table. This results in more accurate information for reporting needs on the Payroll System Contact table.
A User Report Type can now be built using the User Sign-in History table as the Base and the User table as an Added Data Source. Reports using this User Report Type will be able to pull back the login history for a user along with details about the user.
A User Report Type can now be built using Country as the Base and City and/or State/Province as Additional Data Sources. You can also use the State/Province table as the Base and County as an additional source. Recommended paths include Country -> City, Country -> State/Province ->City, Country -> State/Province, State/Province -> County or Country -> State/Province ->
The following fields have been added to the “Employee Assignments 1 line per Employee” view: From Title, To Title, From Salary Grade, To Salary Grade, and Relocation Policy.
Assignment Resource (view) has been updated to include the User: User ID field. If the resource has a User ID, the User ID will be populated.
Miscellaneous Enhancements
Compensation Worksheets: Previously, when deleting a Line Item from a Comp Worksheet Company Template using the Delete checkbox, there was an unlikely scenario where the Line Item details from a Comp Worksheet Line Item would be inadvertently removed. This has been corrected.
Compensation Worksheet Assignment Templates: In some cases the payment currency was not populating correctly when Fixed Amount in 3rd Currency or Percentage in 3rd Currency was used. This value is now calculated correctly when the Assignment Template is created and the 3rd currency is specified on the line item or by using the Apply to All Line Items option.
Encryption: The following fields have been updated to allow encryption: Intermediary Bank IBAN, Final Bank IBAN, Final Bank Account Number, Further Credit Account Number.
File Export: Enhancements have been made to the options available for scheduling the export of data to a file. This includes using stored procedures to supply export parameters and running a stored procedure after a successful export. For more information on scheduling exports, contact your Equus Client Account Manager.
HRIS Data Integration: A new configuration option is available to control the logic used when matching an employee in HRIS data against an existing employee record in AssignmentPro.
Most Recently Used: The Most Recently Used Assignment list has been improved for better performance.
Menu: In some instances, the left hand menu within an Assignment would not display immediately after approving modules or authorizing services; this has been corrected.
Note/Communication: When adding a document to a note/communication, the + button should appear when the note/communication is first being created. This was accidentally hidden until the note/communication was saved for the first time. This has now been corrected.
Security: As a part of our standard process, Equus will fix vulnerabilities found through testing and analyses. We have made a few enhancements to address findings.
Surveys: An Event Log has been added to the survey batch process so that more details can be known when batches fail or error.
