Allow Negative G&S Differential for Mercer, ICS & AIRINC Compensation Calculations

There is a system preference available at both the system and company level that allows users to permit a negative Goods and Services Differential amount.

  • When this preference is off, if the ICS (formerly ORC) G&S Differential calculation result is negative, the amount is adjusted to 0.

  • When this preference is on, the amount is not adjusted.

  • This setting is used by both Compensation Worksheets and Cost Estimates.

  • The default value is No.

Things to Notes

  • The imports will update the record if a similar record already exists. The conditions to check will depend on the import. For example, the Spendable imports will check for a record with the same Company, Country, Region/City, Currency, Gross Salary Range and Effective Date.

  • The Country Code provided on the Mercer file must be the 2 character ISO code and must be in the Equus Platform. An invalid country code will cause the record to fail to be imported.
