The following validations are used on the Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) field on the Bank Account page in the Mobile Employee Experience (MEE) and in the Equus Platform:
The length should be 11 character long
Follows the proper IFSC format and structure - the first 4 characters should be upper alphabets
The fifth character should be 0
The last six characters are usually number, but can also be alphabetic

Intermediate Bank Information can only be added after a new Bank Account record is saved.
In the MEE, if validations are not met, the user will be presented with an error message: "IFSC reference must be 11 digits long.β and the value will not be saved until a valid value is entered. This is true for both Account Number and Intermediate Bank sections.
In the Equus Platform, if validations are not met, the internal user will be presented with an error message and the value will not be saved until a valid value is entered.
Error is indicated with the
icon beside the field and hovering the cursor over the icon will display the reason for the error.
