When a Business Travel case record is created in the Equus Platform, an automated feature can generate risk assessments for business travelers. These assessments are designed to provide critical information related to Tax, Posted Worker Directive, Immigration, and Social Security as soon as a new travel destination is added to a business travel case.

The system currently supports these assessment engines, each offering unique features and benefits:

The Equus Platform allows only one assessment engine to be active at a time. A system preference determines the active engine. By default, this preference sets ECE as the primary engine.

Depending on the enabled assessment provider, dynamic behavior is implemented across the platform:

  • Screens display data based on the active assessment engine. For example, Permanent Establishment details is only available to ECE. Relevant screens include:

    • Internal Screens:

      • Employee

      • Assignment

      • Travel Destination details

  • Widgets used to handling and displaying assessment details will also differ depending on the active assessment engine. For example, the details that will display mobility manager widget when creating a record will vary. When ECE is active, the Permanent Establishment details will be available. The Posted Worker Filing Action Required will also show dynamic records from the main assessment provider

  • Data related to non-selected engines is hidden.

Things to Note

  • The automation works with the Traveler Compliance API. This API works different from the usual Equus APIs (i.e. People API, SCIM API and etc). To enable this feature, please check with your Equus Representatives.
