Managing checklists

A checklist can be launched once the checklist template is configured. In order for a checklist to be assigned to a specific employee, the user must first have the security rights to view the checklis

A checklist can be launched once the checklist template is configured.

In order for a checklist to be assigned to a specific employee, the user must first have the security rights to view the checklist screens at an assignment level as well as have an additional permission set.

You can manually start a checklist or configure automation to automatically launch one.

Manual Launch

Assignment Level Checklist are launch at the assignment level or the company level. Navigate to:

Assignment Checklists screen for Assignment Level Checklist and navigate to Checklist - Company Level for Assignment Level Checklist

  1. Click

    plus button

    to add a new checklist - a list of available checklist templates will be displayed

  2. Click the

    new checklist button

    icon to launch the checklist template to the assignment

Automatic Launch

Configure automation to automatically launch a checklist template. Workflow will be the user assigned since the checklist are automatically started. Additional details will also be available such as 'Started from' 'Record Id' and 'Started from Table Name'.

  • Started from Table Name: This will indicate the database table where the checklist is located

  • Started from Record Id: Indicates the record ID the checklist is connected to

Managing a Checklist

You can manage your checklist item with the following fields:

  • Assign Checklist Item: You can manually assign checklist if automation is not configured on the checklist item by selecting a resource in the dropdown. Click

    checklist check all button

    to check all assign checkbox, click

    checklist check none button

    to uncheck all or by manually selecting the tick box on each checklist item

  • Started: Manually start the checklist

  • Completed: Manually complete checklist for checklist template with no automation configured

  • Cancelled: Cancel the checklist regardless of completion or progress.

  • Additional buttons used to manage the Checklist:

    • save button

      - save the changes of the checklist

    • delete button

      - delete the checklist

    • close button

      - close the checklist

Documents

Users can add documents to checklists. Click

plus button

in the Documents section to add a new document. Documents will be added and will show in the documents grid including the following fields:

  • Type

  • Name

  • Description

  • Last Update (date/by)

Note - Documents uploaded in this screen will not appear in Assignment Documents and/or Company Document screens
