Segments Lookups are configured at the Company Level on the Segment Lookup page. When using lookups for segments on the Segment Level page, each segment will require a lookup and is ordered alphabetically.
To add a new company segment lookup value, first select the desired segment level name from the drop down list.
To add a new lookup value, click on the
button and a new row will appear with an Active status. Assign a name in the mandatory Name field and populate the Code field if desired.
To add the description to the lookup value, click on the pencil icon. On the Company Segment Details page, modify the fields displayed and press
.
When adding new segment lookup values for segment levels 2, 3 and 4, a parent segment must be selected. The drop down list will only show active parent segments at the time of adding the new value and inactive parent segment lookup values will not be available to be selected.
Once a company segment level lookup value is made inactive, it cannot be selected from the Mobility Details page.
