Help Text can be added to the request type and can be static (i.e. contents does not use Merge Codes/Tags) or dynamic where some of the text is populated using a backing User Report for the Merge Codes. The Help Text appears beneath the name of the Request Type. The use of the Rich Text Editor field allows for customization of help text that will appear on the Request. The field supports the use of variable merge codes that populate data from an associated User Report.
Once you have selected a User Report, click the dropdown to see a list of available Merge Tags. Use the
button before pasting the tag into the Help Text field. See Video ▶️
Note that when using User Reports, the External User Type Access must be configured correctly to appear in the relevant portals. The same applies to the User Report Type. |
For the Mobile Employee Experience, use <External Employee> and if using the Delegate feature, also include <External Employee Delegate> in the External User Type Access section.
For the Client Portal, use <External Client>in the External User Type Access section.
