Overview
A cost center is a mechanism within a business to which costs can be allocated. This helps a department track expenses, gauge spend and revenue against each other allowing a better view of the company’s financial status.
A cost center can also be used to conduct data analysis and develop business strategies as well as assessing a department's effectiveness. Data needs to be stored for reporting and reference purposes. The Cost Center screen can found at an assignment level under the Financial section.
The following fields can be stored on the screen:

Things to Note
Cost Center data can be included in the Employee/Assignment Flexible Header Import and be used in the People API and HRIS Remote Integration.
