The title of the widget will contain the user’s name. It will display the Last Sign in information and also contain a link to Change Password. The Announcement Header is not displayed within the widget, but if the user goes to the Announcement page, he/she will see the full announcement, including the header.

If there is no portal announcement marked as the Welcome, or the announcement is expired, then no message will display (Last Sign in and Change Password link will, along with the “Welcome <User Name>” message).

This widget is available on System Default Client User Template, System Default Employee User Template, and the System Client User Assignment Template dashboard templates.

Announcements Widget

Lists active (non-expired) announcements in order, according to the create date, from newest to oldest. It displays the Announcement Header in full, including any HTML formatting included in the Announcement Header configuration. If there is no Announcement Header, it will display the first 50 characters of the Announcement Body, followed by ellipses (…). The Starts On date of the Announcement will be displayed below the Announcement Header as the “Posted Date”. Expired announcements are determined to be those where the Expires On date is less than or equal to the current date. Announcements shown are per the User Type and match the Announcements displayed on the Announcements page.

Clicking the Go To Announcements Page link will take the user to the Announcements page (no longer on the Dashboard page), if the user has rights to that page. If the user does not have rights to the Announcements page they will get a red box error message stating they do not have security privileges to that page.

If there is no announcement set for the company (or no active announcements within an assigned announcement set), the widget will display a message stating, “There are no announcements at this time”.

YTD Inits By Quarter Widget

This widget lists initiations (authorizations) that have been finalized /submitted (where an assignment record has been created, according to the Create_Date of the Assignment record). It will show initiations for the current year, through the current date, grouped by quarter. It will also show initiations for the previous calendar year. Quarters are defined as Q1 = January through March, Q2 = April through June, Q3 = July through September, and Q4 = October through December. If there are no initiations for a given quarter, or if the quarter is in the future, the chart will reflect 0. Initiations that are created through the Authorization screen but not “Final Submitted” will not be reflected (as long as a record was not created for the cost estimate process).

Clicking the View Details link will generate a report in HTML that shows all initiations (per the user’s security rights) giving detailed information including System Number, Employee Last Name, Employee First Name, Policy, Initiation Date, Authorization Coordinator, and a link to the Assignment.

Clicking the link to the Assignment from within the detail report will open another window to the Assignment Detail page for the particular assignment selected.

If the initiation is done through the Authorization screens, the Authorization Coordinator will reflect the Authorization Coordinator on record. If the initiation is done through the New Employee/New Assignment screens, the Authorization Coordinator will reflect the User who created the record.

The Policy reflected in the detail report is the one that is current on the Assignment Detail screen, which may not necessarily be the same one the initiation/authorization was created with.

If there are no initiations for the current year and no initiations for the previous year, the widget will display a message stating, “There are no initiations at this time”.

This widget is available on the System Default Client User Template dashboard.
