Shortcut widgets are the one of the only widgets that are not user report backed. Users can configure shortcuts to commonly used internal and external websites as well as specific assignment screens to quickly navigate the system.

The administrator can configure the Title, icon, and color of the widget. If users would like to add shortcut widgets to a portal page, this widget would be most appropriate for External Client users.

Display Name

This field will default to “Go to <page name>”. This may be modified as desired.

When ticked, the shortcut will open in a new window, rather than the existing one. This checkbox is not ticked by default.

Things to Note:

  • End users may modify shortcuts to tailor the widget to individual needs once available on the Dashboard. Shortcuts will be saved on a per user basis (so changes by one end user will not affect).
