The Migration Package tool allows you to copy objects such as checklists, merge documents, templates, and reports from one instance of the platform into another instance.
The Migration Package will always create a new object; it will not modify an existing object. The system will not prevent you from creating the same object multiple times, or creating an object with the same name as an existing object in the target system.

System Compatibility - Note, when copying objects from one site to another, you will receive a warning if the system versions do not match. You will have to validate your migration package to ensure all components of the item are viable under the current release.
