The Performance Management Configuration screen allows users to configure rating types to be used in assignment performance ratings and goals.
Performance management configuration can be accessed by selecting Company Configuration in the Company tab.
Creating Rating Types
Rating types are used within performance management to allow consistent rating scales for assignment performance ratings. Once a rating type has been used in an assignment rating the answer type cannot be changed.
To configure performance management settings:
Select the Company Performance Management screen
Select the + icon within the Rating Types section
Input a Description and select an Answer Type
Rating Type Settings:
Description: The performance rating description is the name that will appear when selecting the rating type for a assignment rating. Inactive rating types cannot be select.
Answer Type: The answer type determines how the evaluation criteria can be answered.
<Text>: Supports inputting any alphanumeric answer.
<Numerical Range>: Supports numeric answer that is within the specified range.
<Custom Lookup>: A list of custom lookup values can be created. Lookup Value is the value that will display in the list and the numerical value is the numerical value associated to the lookup value.
