Quick Workflows (QWF) are actions which trigger when something changes or is scheduled in the Equus Platform. Quick Workflows can be defined as the following actions:
Notification
QWF can be used to quickly set up automated alerts notifying individuals of pending events or important dates related to a relocation or assignment, authorization, billing entity or company.
The below diagram will determine which notification feature may be most appropriate to use.
In addition to triggering notifications, the QWF's automation feature supports the automatic population of other fields or make updates to other areas within the Equus Platform.
Automation
Aside from notifications, QWF can be used to trigger or call a stored procedure/custom code that will allow you to populate other fields or make updates to other areas within the Equus Platform. This feature can assist in automating your processes and eliminate manual updates users may perform in the Equus Platform.
Webhook
QWF can be a customized message to the Equus Platform APIs to determine which set of identifiers can be configured to be sent to its target URL. A more comprehensive article regarding how Webhook works with Equus Platform API is detailed here.
