Most resource fields can be defaulted with an assignment's relocation coordinator. If an assignment's relocation coordinator is not granted the resource role on the resource screen, then the defaulting will not occur. This default is set in a system preference that is accessible only through the database.

A pref_value of "EQTRUE" for a system preference will default the coordinator field to the assignment's relocation coordinator. A pref_value of "EQFALS" will do nothing. Please contact your Equus contact for further information.
Things to Note
By default each coordinator field in the system is loaded by its list of resources assigned to a resource role. Through an override table in the database, RESOURCE_ROLE_METADATA_OVERRIDE, each resource field can be modified to be loaded by a different list of resources.
For example, by modifying the relocation coordinator field in the RESOURCE_ROLE_METADATA_OVERRIDE table, the relocation coordinator field could display all active resources instead of just the resources with the relocation coordinator role.
