Once User Tables have properly been configured on the User Table Configuration screen, it is possible to store and display the data in those tables using User Pages. To access the User Page Configuration screen, search for it using the Global Search or select it from the Configuration Tab.

Page Details

Name - This is the name of the page within Equus Platform. Page names must be unique. The Name identifies the User Page for configuration of security, notes and checklists. The Name is also used as the title of the User Page when it is displayed in a browser.

Level - This is the level of the Equus Platform at which the user page will be shown in the menu set at the ‘Internal Menu Item Configuration’ section. The level here will also limit which user tables can be added to a particular page.

  • If the level is set to Authorization, it will not be available on the menu but available to configure as a Control on the Authorization Template.

  • If the level is set to Assignment, the 'Support Locks' option will be available. This setting allows you to lock the data in the User Page and make it not editable once locked. Lock and unlock options can be configured on the Role Maintenance screen.

Page Title - This is text that will appear at the top of your User Page. It should give the user a high level direction for interacting with the page or summarize the type of data managed on the page.

Inactive - This checkbox toggles the availability of the User Page within Equus Platform. When a page is marked Inactive it will not appear in navigation menus, security configuration, or notes and checklist configuration. The page will also not be available through direct URL access.

Be sure to click on

after making adjustments to the User Page definition, particularly the Name and Inactive settings. This will force Equus Platform to re-build cached page definitions to appropriately reflect the updated configuration.

Internal Menu Configuration

This section defines what internal navigation will be available for the User Page (portal menu configuration is done separately). When the User Page has a Level of Authorization, no Internal Menu Configuration section will appear.

Menu Item Never Available - There will never be a menu item displayed for this User Page. The page will be accessible only by direct URL navigation.

Menu Item Available by Service - The menu for this User Page will only be available for Assignments whose policy includes a service for which the page has been configured. This option will not show if ‘System’ or ‘Company’ are chosen as the Level. By clicking the 'Configure Services' link to define a service that includes the User Page. Assignments without the services approved can still access the User Page through direct URL navigation.

Menu Item Always Available - The menu item for this User Page will be displayed for all Assignments, Companies or at the System Level if selected.

When a menu item for a User Page is Always Available or Available by Service there are some menu options that may be defined.

Menu Caption - This is the text that will appear in the navigation menu linking to the User Page.

Menu Group - There are several menu groups at the Assignment, Company or System levels to choose from; Select from any of the groups listed here to place the menu item for the User Page within that group.

Menu Sequence - The sequence determines the order of menu items within a menu group, with the lowest sequence at the top. Multiple items can have the same sequence value, and if so, those items will be further sorted alphabetically.

Next, configure the Page Sections to add the fields from User Tables.
