In order to create a new request, a Request Type must be selected from which there are a number of different ways from the external client portal. Depending on how the external client portal is configured, not all options may be available.
Once the Request Type has been selected additional fields associated with the selected Request Type will populate on the screen. Enter the appropriate information into the fields and click
to save a request.
A request can be created from a number of different places depending on how the external client portal is configured.
Method 1 - Requests can be raised from the Assignment Request History page
New requests can be created from the Assignment Request History screen by clicking
. This directly opens the Request page in a new window for the current assignment.
Method 2 - Requests can be raised from the the Company Request History page
New requests can be created from the Company Request History screen by clicking
. This will open the Request screen.
Method 3 - Requests can be raised from the New Request Widget from the dashboard
New requests can be created from the New Request Widget. From the widget, click on the Request Type that needs to be created. This will open the search functionality used when accessing the request page from Company Request History page.
Once an assignment has been chosen from the search results list, the Request screen will open. The Request Type field will be automatically selected as the type chosen on the widget.
