The uses of Business Rules are currently limited to the following areas within AssignmentPro:

Note that the use of Business Rules is not mandatory. For example, Business Rules can be used alongside the old style custom calculation types which are backed by a user report and/or an Excel spreadsheet for CEs, CCs, WICEs and Benefit Sets.

Business Rules are now available at system level to support system level processes (system-level CEs, system-level Checklists and system-level Pulse Checks) allowing rules to be shared across multiple companies.
