Release 19.2 includes a number of new features which significantly enhance the functionality of AssignmentPro.
Online Help
As a first step in our upgrade of help and support within AssignmentPro, we have added a searchable online help feature to every screen.
All existing AssignmentPro user manuals have been loaded into online help. Further updates are planned to re-write the content to better fit the new format and expand the feature with a fully-functional help center.
User Access on Demand
Users can now be created on demand, via SSO. This means internal mobility users, HR users and business users can be automatically granted access to AssignmentPro and allocated a security role, based on the data provided by your corporate SSO system.
This will enable mobility teams to easily provide access to populations that change often (particularly HRBPs) and have access automatically managed through SSO, without manual intervention.
Cascading User Reports
User reports can now be setup to cascade data, allowing data calculated in report A to be fed into report B. This feature will enable those using data tables to more easily calculate values for custom calculations.
Advance Warning – Field Removal in 19.3 Release (30 May 2019)
In the 19.3 release the following credit card and race fields will be removed from AssignmentPro.

Other Features
Assignment Details
Fixed an issue with Additional Resources on the Assignment screen where the Additional Resources section was hidden. All configured Assignment Additional Resources will now display in the Assignment.
When family data is copied to the Assignment from the most recently-created assignment, the warning message has minor wording changes.
Assignment Packages
Assignment Packages configured to create Cost Estimates that use an ORC Data Subscription value now have that value applied to all Line Items in the Cost Estimate.
Assignment Search
Fixed an issue where the Workflow Widget would appear after hitting the enter key to search, instead of searching. This issue may persist in certain browsers and a further fix is being researched.
Authorizations
When family data is copied to the Authorization from the most recently-created assignment, the warning message on the Authorization now respects the name assigned to the Family tab. Also, this message underwent minor wording changes.
Fixed an issue where an Authorization could not be started for an employee that already had a submitted Authorization with multiple scenarios using a Core Flex policy.
Benefit Sets
Fields on Benefit Set configuration pages that select User Reports have been enhanced to allow type-ahead word matching and faster linking.
Cost Estimates
Fixed an issue where Workday values required for tax engine calculations were not passed correctly when the Cost Estimate Show/Hide preference to only show the “Month” yearly inputs was set to Yes.
Checklists
Fixed an issue where Tasks assigned to an Employee on a started Checklist would still show in the Employee Task List in the Employee Portal after the checklist was cancelled.
Addressed a problem with the Task Widget on the Assignment Checklist page where users would get an error on save if the Assigned To field was changed.
Compensation Worksheets
Fixed an issue where the incorrect exchange rate would sometimes be applied to Compensation Worksheets under certain conditions, including when the assignment base currency was not equal to the home currency.
Employee Elections
Fixed an issue where Quick Workflow items configured to create Election Sets would create Election Sets that do not finish building.
The wording on the Mobile Employee Experience has been slightly changed to allow for more diverse custom terminology in Election Sets.
The description text for Elections and Choices now allows hyperlinks, to allow employees to access more information regarding the election/choice.
Mobile Employee Experience
Fixed an issue on the All Documents page that made the Type drop down unavailable on subsequent uploads after an initial document is uploaded.
Chrome users that had previously logged in encountered an error when attempting to log in after a system update due to the browser cache not being cleared correctly. This has been addressed.
Addressed a problem with drop down fields dependent on a previously selected value where the saved value of the dependent field would not persist unless the page was refreshed. This primarily impacted State/Province fields after a Country was selected on the Profile page.
Addressed an issue with Questionnaires where when a user opens a new window from the MEE they are not returned back to the original screen after the questionnaire was submitted. In some circumstances if the user closes the window with the questionnaire and does not refresh the MEE, then clicks the questionnaire again, it would create a duplicate questionnaire. The questionnaire will now open in the same window as opposed to opening a new window and the user will be returned back to the starting page.
Fixed an issue where the questionnaire permissions were not working properly for non-employee users. When a user does not have role permissions to the Pinpoint Single Sign On page, that user was not getting an access denied message when they should, this issue has been resolved.
When adding Money type custom fields to pages in the Mobile Employee Experience, a linked currency selector will now be available that allows for an amount to be entered and stored with a corresponding currency.
Online Help
Help documentation for AssignmentPro can now be accessed via a widget available from every page; this allows for searching all Equus delivered user manuals without leaving the page. There is a new system preference under the 'Help' category that governs whether only the widget is enabled. Existing resources such as the Help Center, Page Help and Inline Manual can be used in combination with this enhancement if desired.
Help articles will be suggested to users based on the URL of the page the widget is accessed from. The widget is in learning mode and suggestions will improve with use.
The appearance of the widget will be styled based on the current theme of AssignmentPro for a cohesive user experience.
The embedded widget is only available to Internal Users.
Single Sign-On User Provisioning
AssignmentPro now supports the ability to auto provision a user when using single sign-on. This enables automatic user provisioning for internal and external employee user types and resources. The only attributes required for auto-provisioning are First Name, Last Name and Email Address. However other attributes can be included. AssignmentPro can absorb the security role and resource role that a user should have. AssignmentPro is configured with a template(s) which includes user type, security role and resource role.
Tax Services
Previously, there was an issue with getting company-level custom fields to display on the Tax Details Summary, Tax Details, Tax Briefing Details, and Tax Return Details pages. This issue is fixed.
The Tax Equalization screen now supports multiple settlement countries per assignment.
A dashboard Tax Equalization Summary grid was added to the Tax Equalization page to allow multiple records to be viewed.
If the Home Country is currently NULL for a tax equalization record or if the tax equalization detail and tax equalization final gross-up records do not have a corresponding tax equalization record, we have implemented the following upgrade path:
If there are records that have the TAX_EQUALIZATION!HOME_COUNTRY field equal to NULL, we update it to match the ASSIGNMENT!FROM_COUNTRY field. We should update the Last Update Date and Last Update By audit fields.
If there are TAX_EQUALIZATION_DETAIL and TAX_EQUALIZATION_FINAL_GROSSUP records but no TAX_EQUALIZATION record, we add a TAX_EQUALIZATION record for the assignment that has only the TAX_EQUALIZATION!HOME_COUNTRY field populated based on the corresponding ASSIGNMENT!FROM_COUNTRY field. This would then need to be tied to the TAX_EQUALIZATION_DETAIL and TAX_EQUALIZATION_FINAL_GROSSUP records via the foreign key field. All fields should be NULL in the TAX_EQUALIZATION table except COUNTRY, CREATE_BY, CREATE_DATE, LAST_UPDATE_BY, LAST_UPDATE_DATE
The Tax Services Permission Set was updated support the new tax equalization fields.
Multiple Tax Equalization Countries have been added to the Benefits and Services Card on the Mobile Employee Experience.
User Reports
User Reports have been enhanced to support the cascading of data. Prerequisite reports can be setup to run prior to the main report and allow filtering of the main report results using the result of the Prerequisite Report. The first row of data from the Prerequisite Report can be used anywhere the main report. This allows User Reports to cascade data from multiple sources into a final report.
Updated the view “Company Segment Level Audit View” to include the Company Segment ID as well as the full hierarchical segment Name.
Updated the view “Compensation Calculation Template Line Item Definition” to include the missing checkbox field “Adjust for social security, if eligible” so it is reportable in User Reports.
Vendor Integration
An ecosystem vendor's response to the Service Order now displays on the Service Order's Note/Communication page. This allows authorized users to validate successes or troubleshoot errors without requiring external help. The response is stored in Integration Event History, which allows authorized users to review it alongside other integration events.
The Insurance screen was enhanced to support vendor integration for health insurance vendors, as well as provide a status of health insurance coverage for an assignee and their family.
Service orders can now be associated to insurance records for either group or individuals.
A push script has been added to submit insurance requests to vendors.
The Health Insurance Permission set has been updated to support the new fields from the Service Request and the Insurance screen.
A new Quick Workflow has been added to alert mobility users 30 days prior to health insurance benefit termination. Quick Workflow Name: Assignment Insurance Plan Termination Date Notice
The Group Plan Enrollment Section of the Insurance screen has been updated to support insurance enrollment and termination dates as well as policy for the assignee and their family. The screen also now includes a status ribbon to indicate the status of assignee health insurance coverage.
Updated the Assignment Group Insurance Flexible Header Import to support the new Insurance fields.
Visa & Work Permits
Fixed an issue with metadata that caused Checklists and Quick Workflows to stop working if their Data Source monitored Service Order ID in Assignment Visa Service Order, or a child of Assignment Visa Service Order (e.g., Assignment Visa Service Order Note/Communication). After the 19.2 upgrade, these Checklists and Quick Workflows will begin working, and any Data Event Server Error emails will stop being generated.
Widgets/Dashboards
A dashboard ‘Equus Dashboard - User Access Audit’ has been created to show the logon history of users over the last 3 months. Each widget is specific to a user type and will count each unique login per date/time entry.
