Other Features

Accessibility

  • Improved screen reader support for the Destination Details grid (Permanent Transfer, International Assignment and Business Traveler) on the Assignment/Relocation screen and for multi-record user pages

Assignment Packages

  • Fixed an issue where the Enforce Assignment Security Rights flag was removed when copying the template

  • New report ā€œCost Estimate Line Item Hypo Tax Calculation Detail For Assignment Packageā€ is now available providing the selection of a Cost Estimate Template’s Line Item definition for the use in reporting Hypo Tax Calculation Details once a Cost Estimate is generated

AssignmentPro APIs

  • Private Field security rights are now enforced. A user’s role must have per-field access rights to read/update Private Fields

  • Fixed an issue where API requests failed due to the existence of duplicate field override metadata

  • Fixed an issue where the POST response and the Location response header returned a top-level link that did not represent the URL the request was made to

  • Fixed an issue where the source pointer path for custom field errors to now include ā€œcustomFieldsā€ in the path to the erroring attribute

Business Rules

  • Origin, Usage and Business Rules History grids now support Resource Allocations Rules and Rulesets in Business Rules

  • Associated Quick Workflows for Checklist entities are no longer displayed alongside Checklist entities in the Usage grid

  • Fixed an issue where a system level user table field name starting with a number used in a Table Lookup component was prompting an error when using Save & Run

  • New Business Rules Components area here users can search and consult all Table Lookups, Input Variables, Maths, Functions and Multi-Contexts components created inside Business Rules, in a centralized way instead of viewing each business rule and consulting the appropriate component modal

  • Users can opt to see the list of components in a single list without component Source Type headers or in dedicated lists for each Source Type

  • Component modals are accessible from the Components area so that it is possible to edit, save and run the changes made in the component for better usability

Comp Accumulator

  • Added a new Source column on the Compensation Accumulator Import Batches grid at the assignment level allowing users to sort by Source

  • When Comp Accumulator records are approved, records cannot be edited or deleted without first unapproving the records

  • Comp Accumulator records have a new Approval Status field that can be updated using the Comp Accumulator Approval Batch process

Comp Accumulator Approval Batches

Comp Accumulator Approvals can now be created and processed in bulk using the new Comp Accumulator Approval Batches screen.

  • Creating a new Comp Accumulator Approval Batch allows users to filter by a source or users can select all sources with unapproved Comp Accumulator records

  • Batches can be modified by selecting or deselecting records that will be included in the batch before processing

  • A progress bar appears for users to monitor the creation of the batch

  • Batches can be undone so the related Comp Accumulator records can be unapproved

  • Validation message displayed when user clicks the Undo button in the batch screen

  • Added a link from the Comp Accumulator record to the Comp Accumulator Approval Batch when the record is approved

Compensation Worksheets

  • Fixed an issue where Compensation Worksheets that had line items flagged as One Time Payments were no longer being flagged when generating a Retro Calculation Worksheet for the same period

Documents

  • Fixed an issue where E-Signature documents were unable to be cancelled

Expense Management

  • Improved performance on the Vendor’s Report in the expense management automation process

Imports

  • Fixed an issue where Exchange Rate Import would not allow certain characters

  • Improved the Employee/Assignment Flexible Header Import to allow updates to the User Id Email field when an existing employee has a User account. Added a new power user system preference (EEUPDEMAIL), shipped as disabled. When enabled, the import allows updates to the field for existing employees with a user account

Landing Experience

  • In the dashboard edit mode added new buttons:

    • ā€˜Copy Dashboard’ to perform a copy of the dashboard including widgets

    • ā€˜Add a new row’ to move all widgets down on the dashboard, allowing for easy placement of new widgets at the top of the dashboard

  • The link to the Help Center and the ā€˜floating’ Help widget are now available to internal users viewing Landing Experience Dashboards

  • The configured MEE background image no longer appears while the Landing Experience dashboard is loading nor in the background of the Landing Experience left-hand menu

  • When opening up any Landing Experience Dashboard, the dashboard now opens in the same window/tab

  • Fixed an issue where the Global Search widget appeared even when it was disabled

  • Fixed an issue where the ā€œEnable for Internal Usersā€ checkbox was disabled for newly created dashboards

  • Fixed an issue where users logging into the system were directed to an unexpected error page when 2 factor authentication was disabled and a Landing Experience dashboard was setup as their default dashboard

  • Fixed an issue where internal users without a company ID, did not have their favorite system level reports displayed in the Key Reports widget

  • Fixed an issue where a user report linked to a deleted widget cannot be deleted

  • Added a new Map widget that provides users with 8 different map options to display their data. These options included:

    • USA

    • World

    • North America

    • South America

    • Europe

    • Asia

    • Australia

    • Africa

  • Added a Notification section to the Task and Reminders widget

  • Added a new screen section right that allows users to configure which roles can view other users task in the Task and Reminders widget

  • The new Function widget replaces both the Count Em’ Up and Sum Up widgets. This widget contains a function field with 3 options: Count, Sum and Average and displays the output of the function selected

  • The Take Action widget has been removed and dashboards containing this widget will have it automatically replaced with the Authorization Templates and Make a Request widgets

  • The Make a Request widget now enforces situational rules for Request Types. Rules (if configured) are enforced after selecting an assignment

  • Within the configuration of both Bar Chart and Column Chart widgets, there is a new data visualization field for which users have the option to have the bars/columns in their chart to be either grouped or stacked

  • A new capability to add multiple lines is available in the Line Chart widget through the use of subcategories configured in the linked user report. Each subcategory represents a line in the chart and their definition is depicted in the chart’s legend

  • When viewing widgets in their summary view including any numbers shown in hover-over, large numbers now show number separators based on the language setting of the user’s browser

  • Text and icons within the widget area that the theme is applied to will automatically adjust to either black or white based on the luminance of the background. Text will turn white for darker theme background and black for lighter theme backgrounds

  • A theme selector added to the configuration of all pre-built and template widgets (except the custom HTML widget). Users can select or enter a color based on its HEX value. Theme is applied to only the header of widgets which have one. For tile widgets, theme is applied to the entire widget

  • Improved the theme color picker for certain widgets allowing users to select from thousands of potential colors or enter a color based off its RGB / HEX color

  • In the header of most of the widgets, there is now an export feature to download an excel report of the data contained within the widget

Migration Packages

  • Added a new Business Rules migration package type to support the migration of Business Rules and referenced components (Maths, Functions, Table Lookups, Variables, Other Business Rules and Multi-Contexts) including BEST metadata such as User Tables and custom fields

Mobile Employee Experience

  • Fixed an issue when clicking on a document from the Request modal, users were unable to download the document

Pay Register Approval Batches

  • Pay Register Approvals can now be created and processed in bulk using the new Pay Register Approval Batches screen.

  • A Pay Register Approval Batch grid summarizes the Pay Register records included in the batch

  • Batches can be modified by selecting or deselecting records that will be included in the batch before processing

  • A progress bar appears for users to monitor the creation of the batch

  • Batches can be undone so that the related Pay Register records can be unapproved

  • Validation message displayed when user clicks the Undo button in the batch screen

  • Added a link from the Pay Register record to the Pay Register Approval Batch when the record is approved through the batch process

Quick Workflows

  • Added a new Webhook Thread Processer (WEBHOKPROC) power user system preference for the Quick Workflow webhook processor. The current processor can be changed from a single threaded processor to a multi-threaded one based on the number of threads used in the system preference

  • Fixed an issue where Quick Workflows that were using automation for ā€˜Create Service Order and Send’ with merge documents were generating blank documents

SCIM / Enhanced User Management

  • Two new screens are available:

    • User Profile – allows users to create templates for the configuration and definition of users which include the options about security role, user type, company visibility, country security, company segment security, and special group security. Those profiles can be used later in any groups or users directly created through the SCIM API

    • Group Maintenance – users can define which Profiles the members of the group will use. Per the Profile, the user types that are part of the setup will ultimately define the user types the members will be created with. If a user is a member of a group that holds different profiles with different User Types on its setup, it will be created with those different types in the new structure

  • SCIM request history is now logged in the API_EVENT and API_EVENT_DETAILS tables, however to ensure PII concerns, API_EVENT will not hold any sensitive information in the requests

Security Enhancements

  • As a standard process, Equus fixes vulnerabilities found through testing and analysis. For this release, a few enhancements have been made to address findings

  • .PGP and .GPG added to the list of accepted file extensions

Single Sign On (SSO)

  • Fixed an issue on the SSO auto-provisioned user, in which the newly created user received an error 500 on its first time login

Tax Service Eligibility Batch

  • Added a new Tax Service Eligibility Batches screen that allows for a batch creation of records for a specific country and year that will be applied to assignments that meet specified criteria when that batch is ran

Tax Service Eligibility Rules

  • The Tax Service Eligibility Rule Details screen when selecting Rule Type: ā€œPost Yearā€ now has the ability to create records post assignment end date

User Pages

  • Fixed an issue where User Pages would sometimes show an Unexpected Error

User Reports

  • Improved performance for 3 views: Tax Equalization Refund Payment (view), Cost Estimate Line Item View and Compensation Calculation Line Item (View)

  • Fixed an issue where User Report column headers were not centered

Year End Tax Report Publishing Batch

  • Year End Tax Report Publishing Batch now has the ability to select and filter multiple payroll systems
