In order to report compensation to payroll you will need to create accounting transactions from compensation worksheets in the system. Transactions can be created from compensation worksheets with a status of “Ready for Processing”.

A transaction processing batch runs for a specific payroll system and pay date (payroll system calculation period). A batch will include ALL compensation worksheets with a pay date less than or equal to the batch’s pay date where assignments have a primary payroll system matching the batch’s payroll system.

Part of this batch screen’s functionality is to check for missing compensation worksheets. A missing compensation worksheet message indicates that an assignment compensation worksheet template exists for the assignment, but a worksheet does not exist for a period.

The following steps can be followed to create Compensation Worksheet Transaction Processing Batch:

  1. Navigate at the Company Level. This process is usually under the Compensation Processing menu group.
