The Landing Experience is turned on for a given company from the Portal Configuration screen when the Landing Experience Enabled checkbox is ticked for External Client User Type.
The Landing Experience Dashboard Configuration section appears when the Landing Experience is turned on. In this section, a default dashboard must be specified. The default dashboard is what external client users will see when logging in if no further configuration is done. This is also the expected configuration if only one external client dashboard is desired for the company.
Click
to add a new record to the section. Next, select values from Landing Experience Dashboard and Security Role drop down lists and click
. The dashboard a user will see will be based on their security role. If a user's security role is not assigned to a Dashboard, the user will see the dashboard marked as "Default"
Things To Note
A given dashboard can be assigned to multiple security roles i.e. Multiple roles can log in and see the same dashboard.
A given security role cannot be assigned to multiple dashboards i.e. Users can only see one dashboard when logging in
A dashboard that is configured as the default dashboard for a company cannot be deleted
External client users that have multiple security roles should not have different dashboards assigned for those multiple security roles. In this case, the system will show the user the first dashboard that matches one of their roles.
