How to determine which dashboard an internal user sees in the Landing Experience

Internal Users can easily switch dashboards by selecting the "Dashboard" drop down field on the "Home" screen. This allows faster navigation without having the need to navigate through the configurations.

To switch between dashboards, click on the drop down field and select the dashboard to switch in between the Landing Experience.

Select a Landing Experience Dashboard

There are a number of ways for an internal user to view a Landing Experience Dashboard from Internal Equus Platform:

Default Dashboard per Security Role

Navigate to the Landing Experience Dashboard Maintenance screen by utilizing the Global Search feature.

The Landing Experience Dashboard Maintenance screen will list down all existing Landing Experience dashboards.

In this screen, a section "Landing Experience Internal User Default Dashboards" is available for internal users to set a default dashboard for specific security roles.

To configure a default dashboard for internal users,

  1. Click the

    new

    button to add a default dashboard record on the section

  2. Select a dashboard in the drop down list from the available Landing Experienced Dashboards configured. This is will be default dashboard that the internal user will see when logging into the Equus Platform.

  3. After selecting a dashboard, select a Security Role in the drop down list to determine what default dashboard will be seen by the internal user depending on the associated security role.

  4. Once both fields are configured, click

    save button

Preferred Dashboard by User

Another way to set preferred dashboards for internal users is through the User Preferences screen.

To navigate to the User Preferences via the Landing Experience dashboard, click on the user icon on the upper right corner of the screen to show the Landing Experience dashboard settings menu and select User Preference.

Once redirected to the User Preferences screen, click on the

plus

button to add a new user preference. Select "My Landing Experience Dashboard" on the drop down list of the User Preference.

Click on the dropdown option to fill out the fields as needed:

Preferred Dashboard: This mandatory field will specify Landing Experience dashboard you'll see when you sign in and return home. This is a mandatory field

Company: This an optional field that sets a company context for users for the Landing Experience Dashboards.
