The Enabled checkbox can be checked to allow the user to enter a value in the custom field. This checkbox can be unchecked to disable the checkbox so that the user cannot enter a value in this field. Disabling a checkbox may be used when a custom field is automatically populated and the user should not be able to edit the value.
