Custom field can be configured as a Drop Down field, also known as a Lookup Field.
First, configure the custom field as described in How to create/expose a new custom field.
Tick the Lookup Field checkbox, and click
. After you have clicked
, the Lookup Field, which was previously grayed out, will now be available.
A section called Lookup Values will appear at the bottom of the screen. Enter the number of values you would like to add to the Drop Down. Click
to add more rows.
Enter the values and the order in which you would like to display, and then click
..
The fields available in the Lookup Values section:
Lookup Value: Input what you would like to see on the drop down list. This is a required field
Code: this can be an identifier code
Display Order: the order should the list appear in
Inactive: this should be unticked for the value to be visible
