The Health Care screen in the Equus Platform is where health insurance information for the assignee and their family members are stored. This screen allows for:
Service order request information: service orders for medical insurance are recorded, and can be sent, from here
Medical Exams/Immunizations: Dates for when a physical exam has been requested and when it was completed can be stored here
Individual/Family Policy Summary: This is used to store insurance policy information which is specific to the assignee and or their family, which isn't part of the company-wide schemes
Group Plan Enrolment Details: Stores information about the group insurance policy for the assignee and their family. This section has additional functionality which automatically populates the spouse and dependent information once a group policy record is saved. Note that it will populate the spouse and dependent data irrespective of whether they are on assignment or not. It also provides a summary status bar to highlight whether the group insurance is:
'Ordered' (a service order exists, but there is no enrolment date)
'Enroll' (an enrolment dates exists, no enrolment end date exists or it is in the future)
'Terminated' (the enrolment end date has passed)
In order to create a new group plan enrolment record for an assignee, the Insurance Providers and Group Plan / Policies details need to be configured for that company. See the article for Configuring Insurance Providers, Groups and Policies for more information.
