A widget is small application or component that provides specific functionality like displaying data or charts, links to parts of the platform or perform a task or job. Widgets in the Equus Platform either are pre-configured or based on user reports. Users with the appropriate page rights can create and modify user report based widgets. These widgets can then be used on various pages throughout the system, including internal dashboard layouts, portal landing pages, etc.
The Widget Maintenance screen is used to add new widgets as well as manage all existing widgets except for Landing Experience Widgets. The following are the types of widgets you can configure:
