User Tables can be migrated using three types of migration packages:

User Tables can only be migrated from the system level and created at the system level. The selected User Table and its fields will be migrated. This includes:

  • Name of the table

  • Level (Assignment, Company, System or Other)

  • User Table fields (i.e. columns of the table)

  • Duplicate at Authorization flag (for assignment-level tables)

If the Duplicate at Authorization Level checkbox is selected in the source system, the Auth Stage table for the assignment level User Table will be included in the package. If the Auth Stage table is selected to be migrated, it will include the related assignment-level table (that had "Duplicate at Authorization Level" checked).

When migrating a User Table, the ability to edit the User Table name is not an available option in order to preserve the data integrity between User Table and User Report.

Exporting of the object - follows the same steps as all migration package types and the object is always exported as a file.

Importing of the object - follows the steps outlined in the "For Dashboard Layout, User Report (include Preq and Type), User Table and Widget migration package types" section.

User Table Information Not Copied

  • Data (records) in the table

  • Lookup Maintenance

  • Authorization Override Profiles
