User level tasks and reminders are added from the User Tasks & Reminders Summary page.
Navigate to the screen by utilizing the Global Search. Click on
to create a new entry.
Populate the fields on the User Tasks & Reminders page to create a new task only or task with a reminder.
The following fields are available:
Type; Use to categorize tasks and/or reminders. The following options are available from the drop down list:
Billing
Comp Accumulation
Domestic Payroll
Domestic Payroll Year-End
Expense Management
International Payroll
International Payroll Year-End
Surveys
This list is maintained through the LookUp Maintenance at the System Level with Tasks and Reminders Type as the Lookup field name.
Name: The title of the task. This is a mandatory field.
Description: Descriptive text instructing what the task or reminder is
Due Date: The date the task is to be completed by. This is a mandatory field.
Assigned To: Select from the drop down list of Resources. To display the list, click on
. Click on
again to display additional row(s) to select additional resources to be notified of this task.
Automatic Reminder to Resources: The checkbox will be automatically ticked. Resources will receive email notification based on the reminder settings. Untick the checkbox if a reminder is not required.
Remind (xxx) Day(s): Indicates when to email the resource based on the Due Date.
Due Date if Not Complete: Indicates when an email reminder must be sent to the resource based on the due date. List items are <Before> and <After>.
Remind: This field, in conjunction with Days(s) Until Complete, allows users to specify whether the e-mail reminder is a single reminder, or a recurring one.
Specify <Once> to send a single e-mail.
Specify <Once Every> to send recurring e-mails. Use this in conjunction Day(s) Until Complete.
Day(s) Until Complete: Indicate how often (number of days) the recurring e-mail should be sent.
