How to hide and restrict imports

Whilst the Imports Screen at the System level and Company level cannot be configured to be hidden, it is possible to configure which import names appear on these screens.

Click "Import Settings" at the system level Navigate to the System Imports screen and tick the Inactive box to "hide" the import name from the Imports screens at both the system and company levels.

To add further security to a specific import name, consider using the Data Sensitivity field.

Finally, Click

When the Inactive box is ticked at the system level for a specific import name, the import name will have "No" as the System Inactive value and will not appear for on the Import Screens at the company level for all companies.

To override the setting, navigate to the Company Imports screen by clicking on a company's "Import Settings". In the System Import Availability data section, select "Yes" from the drop down menu for the Company Inactive field and click

. The import name will appear for that specific company only and will not be available to other companies or at the system level.
