Frontier Worker
We have new functionality to support tax calculations for European Frontier Workers. Easily calculate taxes for outbound employees and cater for income tax for the country in which they live and social tax for where they work, for 13 supported European countries.
Company Level Checklist
Checklists are now available in AssignmentPro at a company level. You can use them to help manage your company wide processes, such as project setup, new site setup and periodic payroll tasks. They also allow you to increase task visibility at this level via widgets, emails and reminders.
Notes/Communication Enhancements
Search Notes/Communications and email records, along with improved navigation and label functionality allowing you too easily track down the records you need and save time using these new features.
File Import Service Rules
The new File Import Service Rules screen lets you manage the automatic imports of file-based data into AssignmentPro. Import control configuration can now be setup without the need to manually manage individual control files, saving time and making it easier to view specific details.

Assignments/Authorization
AssignmentPro™ now offers support for calculating Home Social and Home Income taxes using different tax authorities for qualified Frontier Workers. New fields are available at the Assignment and Authorization level to track these workers. Note, the new fields are hidden by default - reach out to your Equus representative to enable them
API
The new API Event History screen can be used to view a log of each API request that has been made so users can troubleshoot issues
Business Rules
Corrected a behavior where migrating Business Rules to another environment created duplicate record IDs
Fixed a duplicated cache issue that occurred while running Business Rules which was causing failures when running rules concurrently
Checklists
Company Checklists have been added to AssignmentPro™
A new level field has been added to company and system Checklist templates allowing users to set up company Checklists to support company level tasks and processes
The company level has been added to the Checklist template grid to easily differentiate between assignment and company templates
A new company Checklist page has been added allowing users to create new Checklists and view existing Checklists that have been started, completed, or cancelled
Company Checklists can send resources an email when a Checklist item has a reminder and when it has been started, completed or marked not applicable
The company Checklist ‘Assign Checked Items To’ and ‘Assigned To’ drop down lists are supported by a type-ahead company contact resource picker
The company Checklist template line item also support automatic completion and can be linked to company project and payroll system pages
Assignment and company Checklists will always populate the Checklist table with a company ID
Compensation Calculations
New tax calculations options are available on Compensation Calculation templates. The new options ‘Frontier Actual: Social’ and ‘Frontier Hypo: Social’ can calculate social taxes in the new ‘From Work’ location for qualified European workers who pay income tax in the country where they live and contribute to social security in the country where they work
When a Compensation Calculation is created with a template that includes one of the new Frontier tax calculations, the ‘Home Work’ tax estimator will be shown in addition to the Home tax estimator
The Tax Inputs configuration option now appears on Compensation Template line items. See the help center for more information
A new Compensation report, ‘Assignment Compensation Calculation Report (supports Frontier Workers)’ has been released. This is similar to the ‘Assignment Compensation Calculation Report’ and includes additional information on the ‘Home Work’ location
Users will now see a warning on the Compensation Calculations page if the ‘To Currency’ or ‘From Currency’ is missing
Cost Estimates
New tax calculations options are available on Cost Estimate templates. The new options ‘Frontier Actual: Social’ and ‘Frontier Hypo: Social’ can calculate social tax in the new ‘From Work’ location for qualified European workers who pay income tax in the country where they live and contribute to social security in the country where they work. Note, these values are calculated before other tax values and can be used as inputs for other tax calculations
When a Cost Estimate is created with a template that includes one of the new Frontier tax calculations, the ‘Home Work’ tax estimator will be shown in addition to the Home tax estimator. This appears on the General Info tab as well as the Tax Calc Inputs tab
There are two new Cost Estimate reports:
‘Cost Estimate Line Item Frontier Tax Calculation Detail’ report displays the actual/hypo social tax details of the Frontier Tax line item in the ‘Home Work’ location
Cost Estimate (Years 1-6) (supports Frontier Workers) includes additional information on the ‘Home Work’ location
Custom Field
A new set of fields has been added, supporting text data up to 50000 characters, as well as multi line properties. Users can add up to 10 of these new fields to each Custom Field Table. These fields are also supported in People API
File Service Import
New File Import Service Rules allow users to setup import control configuration for the File Import Service. This means users no longer have to manually manage configuration files
Imports
Corrected an error that occurred when trying to undo imports
Integrations
Enhanced the filtering of markup on body notes of integration events, to make sure elements such as encoded links and table formats are preserved
Notification rules related to integration errors can now be configured so users do not have to log into AssignmentPro™ for more information
Internet Browser Support
From this release, Internet Explorer 11 will no longer be supported. Some AssignmentPro™ functionality may not work in Internet Explorer and no minor bugs or cosmetic issues will be fixed for Internet Explorer. If you are currently using IE 11, we recommend you switch to the latest version of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
Landing Experience
The Tasks and Reminders landing experience widget supports company Checklist tasks.
Corrected a behavior with the map widget in handling duplicated names of states/providences in separate countries
Resolved a scenario with the Upcoming Start Dates widget where the count at the top was calculated incorrectly and the widget displayed an incorrect view when collapsed
Corrected the search in the drill down with Function Widget where in it was not filtering results correctly
A periodic issue where the Landing Experience Dashboard did not load correctly has been resolved
Merge Document
Users can now generate merge documents in XLXS format. This format can also be used for Assignment Packages
Migration Package
Migration packages support the new company Checklist fields
Mobile Employee Experience
Added additional configuration options to Mobile Employee Experience Configuration for Passport and Document sections
Notes/Communications
Notes/Communications have been enhanced and now include the following features:
Emails are now presented as collapsible records for easier navigation
Added search capabilities so users can find communication records more quickly
Added labels and the ability to search on these
Users are no longer able to add documents to email records that had already been sent.
Read only Notes/Communication records can no longer be saved, to avoid formatting issues
Payroll Reports
Corrected an error with Payroll System Report Batches that contained failed documents when trying to regenerate or delete
Resolved a behavior where Payroll Reports where not being properly processed during export
Policy
Created new options to ensure that Policy Field approvals can be sent over an Integration event in a unified manner
Production Reports
Crystal Reports are no longer supported
Projects
The Project contact name and email address is now updated when user or resource records are updated
The link from the Project entitlements page to the custom fields page is always visible so users can add new entitlement fields to a project as required
Project entitlement fields can now be used in Quick Workflows
Pulse Checks
Enhancements were applied to Pulse Checks to improve performance
Quick Workflows
Quick Workflows now support:
Project documents and all fields included with project documents
Company Checklists when the data type is company
Sending emails and banner alerts to Project contacts
Resources
Improved the performance of the Resource Details page
Corrected an incorrect behavior when deselecting a user id from a Resource
User Maintenance
Increased security around the user screen, making sure externally owned identities (users created and managed from an external IDP) are only managed by external systems
Creation of user profiles will no longer error if no security segments existed when setting up a profile
User Reports
To aid in the configuration of Cost Estimate and Compensation Templates for Frontier Workers, Equus has released two new standard User Reports.
The ‘Equus - Cost Estimate/Comp Calc Line Item Tax Input Audit Report’ can be used to review the Tax Input mapping for every line item
The ‘Equus - Cost Estimate/Comp Calc Line Item Input Data Source Audit Report’ provides details of the Calculation Inputs for the line items in a particular template
User Tables
Corrected an issue in which changes could not be made to User Tables with document fields
Widgets
The Tasks and Notifications widget supports company Checklist tasks
