Features (Click here for PDF)

Accounts

  • Fixed a scenario where the account subtype dropdown list was displaying incorrect values

Assignment Packages

  • Corrected a scenario where Authorization Requests that required the user to manually build Assignment Packages were not processing the Effective Date correctly for browsers that formatted dates as DD/MM/YYYY

API

  • Added ‘SOURCE_SYSTEM_TEXT_KEY’ and ‘SOURCE_SYSTEM’ columns to remaining AssignmentPro API tables so users can add their own external ID to records

  • Made performance improvements for the People, Document, and AirInc API

Checklists

  • The Company Checklist page is now available for external portal users

  • Company Checklists now support:

    • Merging data from a backing user report to the Name, Description, and Milestone fields

    • Automatically assigning Checklist tasks to project and company contacts when a task starts

    • Linking tasks to company pages

  • Project contacts and company contacts can now be identified as the tasks and reminders contact for company Checklist tasks

  • Corrected a scenario where a generic error was displayed on Checklists when the resource was not valid and replaced the generic error with an explanation

Comp Accumulator

  • Corrected a scenario where the Comp Accumulation Control Panel would timeout and prevent users from starting the process. Processing details are now included in the log event to enable troubleshooting

Cost Estimates

  1. Fixed a scenario with Cost Estimates where E4C hypothetical income taxes were incorrectly adjusting for social security when the option “Adjust for social security, if eligible” is unchecked

  2. Solved a problem where Cost Estimates would error when calculating certain hypothetical tax line items

Documents

  • Fixed an issue where users without full page rights would sometimes be unable to access the Assignment Documents page

File Import Service

  • Resolved a problem where a High Import ID and Windows Event Log caused the Import Service to stop and could not be restarted

Imports

  • We changed the behavior for the universal and generic import to prevent users from importing to the assignment inactive field

  • Corrected a scenario where undone imports incorrectly appeared to be successful. Now users will see a helpful status of ‘Failed With Errors’ when an undo fails

Integrations

  • Added a new System Preference for Web API Sender Batch Processing that enables timing adjustment for the sending of outbound vendor integration requests

Landing Experience

  • Corrected a scenario where assignment links were not redirecting to the relevant assignment in the Tasks and Reminders widget and Checklists

Mobile Employee Experience

  • Date fields on the MEE now have a date picker user interface on mobile devices

  • Resolved an issue where external links did not redirect correctly in the MEE

  • Notes/Communications

  • Added additional security enhancements to HTML encoded email integration records

Pay Register Approval Batches

  • Corrected a scenario where Pay Register Approval Batches included Pay Register Approvals for all companies instead of the selected company

Production Reports

  • Corrected a scenario where state wages were miscalculated when a manual tax authority adjustment existed

  • Corrected a scenario where US and Canada Historical Payroll Reports did not include tax assistance or withholding adjustments when a payroll system was selected as a parameter

Relocation Policies

  • Now when a user copies a Relocation Policy from a different Company, only fields that were populated from the System level will copy over so there isn’t incorrect information shared between companies

  • Solved a problem where manually accepted exceptions inside relocation policies were giving concurrency errors

Rich Text Editor

  • Corrected a scenario where the rich text editor was adding unnecessary spacing when users edited content in areas such as the body field of email/note communications or the description field in checklist templates

Security Enhancements

  • Added additional security options to external routing for approvals (Authorizations, Assignment Extensions, Policy Field Exceptions and Core Flex Policy Field Exception):

    • Usage of SSO to authenticate users that approve routed requests. Users then need to be on a valid SSO session to approve

    • Usage of Login/Password to authenticate AssignmentPro users that do not have an SSO session

    • Make sure only approvers can approve and the ‘delegate to approve’ option is restricted

User Reports

  • Fixed some issues when downloading a user report as an ‘.xlsx’ file:

    • Blank dates in some cells in a column would cause the format to display as Text instead of the Date format, resulting in unexpected filters when looking at data in excel

    • Hidden fields were incorrectly displaying data resulting in users not seeing expected data

    • Special characters were being converted to the named character reference resulting in users seeing the reference for a variety of characters

    • Data was being converted to the wrong format resulting in leading zeros being dropped or an overflow error message

    • SQL fields that use custom formatting caused dates to display incorrectly resulting in users not seeing expected data

    • Incorrect formatting was shown when viewing results

  • Reverted the name of the view “Assignment Derived Calculations (view)” to "Assignment Derived Calculations” as it was causing errors in user reports with Custom SQL fields that referenced the view

  • Corrected a scenario where filters that contain date fields were not saving correctly when changed

User Tables

  • Corrected a scenario where User Table fields did not save correctly when display names were swapped

What-If Cost Estimates

  • Added a group estimate feature to What-If Cost Estimates allowing them to be staffed by more than one individual and produce results in a Group Summary Report. The WICE page has been updated to distinguish between the individual and group estimates

    • A work pattern/arrangement feature has been added to capture the work time split between home and host countries. This more accurately captures the work time spent in host country to produce a more precise estimate. The work pattern can be captured on both individual and group What-if Cost Estimates via two new fields: “Work time in Host Country” and “Work time in Home Country”. Note, these fields are defaulted to 100 and 0 respectively, which indicates that 100% of the worktime is in the host country

    • A new Group Summary report displays the line-item section totals (all years) for each role specified in the estimate

    • Introduced a new system preference to “Enable some Cost Estimate duration variables to calculate using the rounded number methodology”. When set to “Yes”, behavior is the same as previous releases. When set to “No”, precision is increased by allowing partial months using the exact dates selected. Note the default setting for the preference is “Yes”

    • Added a new field “Include Home Work-Time Costs?” to the What-If Cost Estimate tab of the Cost Estimate template. This displays total costs on the What-If Cost Estimate report when an assignee splits their worktime between the home and the host country. When this field is selected, the What-if Cost Estimate will show all costs relating to the host worktime, in addition to the base compensation and home country tax costs relating to the home worktime

  • Corrected a scenario where cities did not show up in the What-If Cost Estimates (WICE) “To” and “From City” drop down lists

Widgets

  • Corrected a scenario where users could not edit the “Due Within” days on the Tasks and Notifications dashboard widget
