Portal Menu Configuration Page

The Portal Menu Configuration Page allows you to create custom menu items for external portal users and customize styling with optional stylesheets

This company-level screen allows you to create menu items that external users can click on to access various pages. Be warned that once you create a company-level menu that menu will be used in its entirety instead of the system menu. Subsequent changes to the system menu will not automatically be applied to the company menu, and there is currently no way to delete a company-level menu once it is created.

Configuring Portal Menu Overrides

The Menu Style sheet setting allows you to optionally specify a custom style sheet that will be put on the page along with the portal menu. If left blank, the default style sheet will be used. This default style sheet contains all-and-only the style definitions used by the portal menu. If you provide a relative URL to a custom style sheet, then you can control how that sheet is loaded by checking or un-checking the box labeled "Load Custom Style Sheet In Addition To Defaults." When checked, both the default and custom style sheets will be put on the page (that way your custom sheet need only contain the specific changes, which is the recommended pattern). If you leave this box unchecked, then the custom style sheet will be loaded instead of the default, which means the custom sheet will need to contain all of the styles from the default style sheet (whether they are being changed or not), which is not the recommended pattern.

Portal Menu Item

Configuring the Menu Items allows you to add pages to the portal dashboard. You can refer to the Portal Menu Item Configuration Section for the specific configuration.
