Cost estimates can be pre-populated by a data source, including draft and effective comp worksheets. All compensation worksheets, regardless of status, will be available as a data source on a cost estimate. To use a compensation worksheet as a data source, cost estimate line items will need to be mapped to the worksheet’s line items on the cost estimate template line item.

Draft Comp Worksheets

When using a comp worksheet for an initial cost estimate (when the comp worksheet’s only purpose is for the cost estimate), then creating a draft comp worksheet is the best option. A draft comp worksheet will not be picked up by the batch processing screens.
