A user can be linked to several access groups as can an assignment.

Adding Access Group to a User

  1. Navigate to the user maintenance screen. Access group can be added to both Internal and External user types.

  2. Tick the tick box for "Restrict To Access Group Assignments" for the user. (Note, this will override other security options - see things to note)

  3. Click

    save

    for the access group section to appear.

  4. Once the access group section appears, click

    new

  5. Select the access group required for the user:

  6. Click

    save

Things to Note

  • A warning prompt: "Checking Restrict to Access Group Assignments will remove any configured "Company Segment Security", "Special Security Group Security", "Country Security", and "Company Access" configurations." will appear as a reminder to note that enabling access groups will override other security configuration.

  • If a group is set as inactive, it cannot be selected and will not appear
