System Tips to Remember

  • Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*).

  • When there are multiple

  • Clicking on

    Save___Next.png

    when working in a series of screens will save the data in the current screen prior to moving to the next tab.

  • Pressing the Enter key to advance a system activity may or may not work depending on the internet browser being used.

  • There must be an employee record in place in order to create an assignment record. It is not possible to have an assignment record that is not associated with an employee.

  • You can have multiple browser tabs of the system open at the same time. This can be useful when working in multiple areas of a single assignment or in multiple assignments.

  • Emails sent from the system cannot be recalled, but a follow-up email can be sent to advise the employee to disregard the prior email. Do this by using the ‘Respond’ () icon found to the right of the communication record.

General Navigation Tips

This is a list of tips to assist you with general navigation within Equus Platform.

Primary Logo

  • Clicking on the primary logo found on the left-side navigation menu in all Equus Platform screens will redirect the user back to their homepage or default Landing Experience dashboard.

Navigation Menu

  • This is found on the left-side navigation menu in all Equus Platform screens, and will include options such as Home, Assignments, Companies, Billing, and Configuration.

  • The options listed will depend on your user role. The line seen beneath the option indicates which section of the system you are currently in.

  • This is the list of options associated with an employee or assignment.

Global Search

  • This feature appears in the upper left hand corner of all screens and allows users to search on Assignments, Business Rules, Email Templates, Employees, Configuration Pages, Quick Workflows, User Reports, and User Report Types.

Bread Crumb

  • This is the location path found beneath the navigation bar. It indicates the specific page you are on within the system and includes quick links to access the Employee Details and Assignment Details

Page Controls

  • These are the icons found to the right of the bread crumb, including the envelope (Notes/Communications), the checkbox (checklist tasks), the organization tree (Workflow Activities and Notifications), and the paper (Reports).

  • These icons are found on specific pages within the system; for example, the Assignment page, and allow you to quickly access commonly used pages.

Help Center

  • The Help Center can be accessible through clicking on

    in the lower-left corner of all Equus Platform screens.

  • Articles which you can help you with your Equus Platform configurations can be searched through the widget once the button is clicked.
