Mobile Employee Experience (MEE) Configurable Client Help feature allows a company to publish content to the MEE to targeted Employees to support them with their move/assignment using the Quick Workflow feature. Contents can be either internal documents or external links to external documents and/or videos. For streaming content, the available options are YouTube, Vimeo, MS Stream, SharePoint and Facebook.

What are the configuration steps prior to using the feature?

This feature is available if the Mobile Employee Experience is active.

What functions are available after configuration?

Things to note

  • This feature is only available for the Mobile Employee Experience and not Employee Portal

  • Documents published to the MEE via a QWF cannot be deleted from the MEE

  • All company documents with a category of MEE Help are available to be selected when using the Media Delivery Event process on the Automation tab

  • Making a Company Document with a category of MEE Help inactive does not remove the document from the MEE if it has been delivered by a QWF

  • It is not possible to delete any file from Company Library if it is referenced by a QWF

Notes on rendering videos 🎥:

  • All videos must be set as public as the rendered cannot override the streamer site security

  • SharePoint: Videos must be created on a public channel

  • MS Stream: There is a setting on IOS devices that can render the videos unplayable - “Prevent cross-site tracking” should be disabled on these devices

  • Facebook video: Squared videos (aspect 4:3) do not render correctly - 16:9 is highly recommended
