Mobility Management in the Equus Platform allows users to manage their entire mobile workforce, which can be made up of a range of Mobility Types. The following mobility types are supported by the Equus Platform:

Equus offers a mobility management process intended to keep track of mobility-related data that doesn't require a full authorization and approval process, and to quickly create Mobility or Case Records using the new Mobility Manager Widget for the following types:

  • International Relocation

  • Domestic Relocation

  • International New Hire

  • Business Travel

  • International Remote Work

  • Domestic Remote Work

  • Immigration Only

These available Mobility Types can be renamed through the Mobility Type Lookup Maintenance. Users can also choose to set a default Mobility Policy for a specific Mobility Type, which can be done through the Mobility Type Policy Defaults screen.

An option to create a case record for an existing employee, or create a new employee for the mobility record. Note, employee records can also be created automatically via a HRIS integration. Manging record is also possible with viewing and editing through the Mobility Manager widget

Self Service Request

An intuitive self-service request form for International Remote Work Request can be enabled. The request form allows users to submit request for themselves and can be accessed by Internal, External Client, External Payroll, and Employee users. This form includes a unique URL link that can be utilized by both SSO and non SSO users

Managing Multiple Destinations

There are certain mobility types that includes going to multiple destinations like Business Travel and Remote Work. In addition, Destination Details can be added for the Case Record of the Business Traveler either through the Mobility Manager widget, or by editing the Case Record internally. Specific information on adding Destination Details are documented here.

Approval Process

Approval Ruleset and Approval Routing can be designed and created for all mobility types that are not included in the Remote Work request form. This can be created at a company-level approval ruleset that can be used in the routing process. In addition, Quick Workflow can be utilized to support the approval ruleset for all mobility types.

Confirming Travel Dates

Employees can confirm their actual travel dates via Travel Dates Confirmation form. An automated email can be sent to an employee after their remote work is complete and is initiated by a Quick Workflow. This process allows relocation coordinators to confirm the dates are accurate and meet the requirements of a mobility program.
